The Austiger House kitchen features everything you need to cook up and enjoy your favourite feast. Wood floor, large windows, direct garden access and the most beautiful views you could wish for, whilst enjoying your meal.
With so much beautiful locally sourced groceries (we have some really amazing fish mongers in the area), we wouldn't want to insult our local suppliers with a subpar kitchen.
With an expansive kitchen island, plenty of storage and a fully equipped kitchen, you can easily prepare everything from a small breakfast to an actual buffet. Or perhaps you feel like baking? Whatever you would like to accomplish, anything is possible in this state of the art kitchen.
Did we mention that you will be cooking with Gordon Ramsays favourite knife brand Henckels? And if they're good enough for him...
Whether you are visiting as a family or a big group of friends, there is plenty of space for the whole company to enjoy meals together. Austiger House features a Devon-made large dining table and can seat at least 10 people. Did we mention the view? We did, but let's talk about that again! See the sun climb up Maidencombe Bay whilst you are enjoying your morning coffee and watch evenings golden hour during dinner.
You can have the right ingredients and plenty of space to cook them, however if you don't have the right appliances you probably won't get very far. Luckily Austiger House is equipped with the highest quality appliances from Neff and KitchenAid, to mention a few brands.
If there is one thing that we value at Austiger House, it is a good cup of tea or coffee. Our top of the range appliances as well as our well stocked cupboards makes this a breeze! Whether you prefer a latte prepared by the espresso machine or a filter coffee made by the Moccamaster, we are pretty confident that we have something for everyone's liking. And of course there is a top of the range kettle allowing you to perfect your favourite cup of tea.
We get our coffee from the fair trade brand 'Girls Who Grind' and the various teas are directly imported from the tea paradise of Sri Lanka. Whether you prefer a good breakfast tea, an Earl Grey or a green mint tea, there is something for every tea lover. All flavours are supplied by the high end brand Dilmah.
(This is something we need you to keep to yourself... for anyone who wants something slightly more indulgent, there is even a valvetiser preparing the perfect cup of hot chocolate. Marshmallows and all! But again, we don't talk about this.)
