Situated on the first floor, the Austiger Lounge provides the perfect atmosphere for a restful stay all year around. Brightly lit by natural light coming in from all directions and wood floors throughout, this is the ultimate space to relax. The lounge features seating for everyone, as well as a wood burner and entertainment system.

After a fun day in the garden or out on adventure, there is nothing like relaxing in front of a movie with a glass of wine. Enjoy your evenings in front of a 55" smart TV, supported by Sonos sound system. You will find apps such as Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and Disney+.
After a winter walk along one of the many beautiful South Devon beaches, nothing is as cozy as being able to retire to our bright Austiger Lounge and make yourself a fire in our newly installed wood burner.
To make it easy for our guests, we provide logs, kindling and fire starters.

We truly believe that Austiger House has a very rare, but absolutely beautiful view of the Maidencombe Bay. So if you rather watch the sea than the TV, place yourself in one of our very comfortable armchairs and soak up the mesmerising views. May we suggest a cup of tea?
Though we can't promise you sunshine all year around, we can promise you that independent of the weather, you will never be bored. How about a game of chess whilst watching the magical views?
